Hollyoaks star Tamara Wall has praised a supermarket worker, calling him an "actual hero" after she collapsed.

The actor, who plays Grace Black on the Channel 4 soap, was shopping in Morrisons when the scary incident took place, and was quickly helped by the "lovely" staff members.

She took to Instagram to share her gratitude, posting a smiling selfie with the "hero" employee.

"Dear @morrisons I need you to know how amazing your staff in Warrington are!! This guy in particularly was my actual hero when I collapsed in their store," she wrote in the caption.

"I cannot give enough thanks to all the staff for being so unbelievable lovely ! #morrisons #love."

"Yayyyyy you went back!!! Thank you to all at Morrisons Warrington for looking after my sis!!!" she wrote, before later adding: "Also you are my HERO… coming into work the next day filming a full day of scenes!!! Sick day? What sick day?"

Bissix, who plays villain Clare Devine, recently made a shocking return to the soap, 12 years after her character was killed off. In this week's episodes, Clare learnt that Grace was the one who gave her daughter Tori back to the Blakes. With Clare now plotting to kill her sister, will Grace soon regret betraying her sister?

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
