Hollyoaks spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on E4 and Channel 4 streaming.
Hollyoaks has confirmed Lucas Hay and Dillon Ray's romantic future in the latest episode.
The pair have been estranged since the time jump when Lucas found out Dillon got his sister Leah pregnant. There's been a few near-reunions since, and thanks to some separate interventions from Ste and Rex Gallagher, tonight's instalment opened with them hooking up in Ste and James' old house.
Afterwards, Dillon asked Lucas if they would be able to move past all the bad that's happened, and Lucas agreed.

"I like when you're full on," he said. "It's all I need."

Dillon then received a text from Misbah and they headed back. There, she and James were overjoyed to see that the two had got back together.
"Well, you made a good decision with your life, finally," Misbah said cuttingly, while Ste sarcastically pretended to be surprised.
Ste said he empathised with Dillon, saying it was incredibly difficult to be a young dad, and asked if he could be more involved with baby James, starting now.

Dillon said yes, but before Ste left, he told Dillon he needed to propose right this instant. Dillon was flummoxed, but agreed, and started to get down on knee before realising that Ste was just joking.
Will it all be plain sailing for Lucas and Dillon from now, and will everything continue to go smoothly with Ste's recovery?
Elsewhere in the episode, viewers saw some incredibly upsetting scenes in the Abe Fielding storyline and a cliffhanger ending with a deadly proposition.
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
