Hollyoaks has aired devastating scenes involving Leela Dexter, as the plan to take down Abe Fielding continues.
This week, Cleo and Peri were frustrated that Abe had been released without charge following his arrest, and that the website containing intimate videos of them had been taken down – unbeknownst to them, by DI Banks.
When they saw Abe chatting up another girl in The Loft, they decided to take matters into their own hands. Cleo and Peri hid a phone in the toilets and started livestreaming, before confronting Abe together.

In today’s episode, Leela, Joel and Mercedes got the notification about the livestream, as the women attempted to get Abe to confess to his crimes.
No longer scared of their abuser, Cleo and Peri taunted Abe until he admitted that he had hurt them both because they are women who his brother Joel cares about, explaining that he was always the favourite child.
As he got riled up, Abe admitted to everything he has done, including that he raped Leela and that he might be the father of baby Clara.
Cleo and Peri then told Abe that they had livestreamed his confession, then attacked him before running away with the recording – but Joel was left devastated by what he had heard about his wife.
Leela explained everything to Joel, terrified about what he would say. But he was just upset that she didn’t feel able to tell him about the rape and pledged to support her unconditionally.
In emotional scenes, Joel promised that even if Abe is the father, it wouldn’t change how he feels about Clara.

Meanwhile, Abe hurriedly packed some things and grabbed his passport. He checked the comments on the livestream and became angrier at the situation unfolding around him.
Leela called round to see Mercedes, with Peri and Cleo already at the house. Peri was initially angry at her mum for not coming forward sooner, but she quickly apologised and they consoled one another.
The women reflected on how even if Abe is convicted, he will only serve a short sentence. Mercedes realised that they had no other options and proposed that they kill Abe.
Will they be able to go through with their deadly plan?
