Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday’s episode (October 16), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks has provided an important update on Lucas Hay and Dillon Ray’s relationship in the show’s latest episode.
This week, Frankie noticed that Dillon was acting strange around baby James, and she eventually confronted him and asked whether he was the father.
She was shocked when he confirmed her suspicions and explained that he had slept with Lucas’ sister Leah.
Frankie refused to keep this bombshell a secret from her friend and gave Dillon an ultimatum – either he tells Lucas the truth, or she will.

In today’s episode, Lucas returned to the village after being released from Young Offenders, and he reunited with Frankie.
He then went to see Ste, and as he met his baby nephew for the first time, he shared an emotional moment with his dad.
Lucas told Ste and Leela that he was nervous about seeing Dillon again, but Leela reassured him that Dillon had missed him and had been a great help to Leah during her pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Dillon pleaded with Frankie not to tell Lucas about his betrayal, but Frankie stressed the impact that keeping a secret for so long had on her.

However, at that moment, Lucas and Dillon reunited, and Frankie noted how pleased Lucas was to be back with his boyfriend.
It looked like Dillon was going to be honest with Lucas, but instead he decided to split up with him, telling him bluntly that he had moved on and no longer wanted to be with him.
Lucas confronted Dillon about his sudden decision, and when he stuck by his choice, Lucas turned violent – threatening Dillon before punching Rex when he tried to intervene.

Ste eventually found out about the breakup, and he scolded his son for his behaviour, while Rex advised him to give Dillon some time.
As Lucas was comforted by his dad, he explained that he knows something is wrong with Dillon and he is determined to find out what.
