Hollyoaks has teased danger for Tony Hutchinson and Marie Fielding, as their secret romance continues.
Since the show’s time jump, it was made clear that Tony and Diane’s marriage was on the rocks.
It was eventually revealed that they were getting a divorce, but Tony has also been secretly seeing Marie for months.

When his divorce was confirmed, Tony and Marie had their first proper date, and Marie was keen to tell Diane the truth – especially as Diane is her friend.

While their relationship remains a secret for now, in scenes that will air next week, Tony and Marie continue to grow closer and spend more time together.

They have the place to themselves as Diane is out retaking her driving test, after previously losing her license for drunk driving.
Marie goes in for a kiss, but it doesn’t go well, as Tony is taken by surprise. He feels strange being in The Dog flat with her, even though he is now divorced, and Marie is concerned that their relationship has come too soon.
The pair instead decide to spend the morning drinking tea and eating cake. However, Tony and Marie clearly have a lot of chemistry, and they struggle to stay chaste.

Their date is interrupted by Diane, who arrives back home early from her test. She is pleased to have passed, but what she sees in the flat might give her a shock.
Later at The Dog, following the events of the previous day, Diane continues to blank Tony. She is devastated by what has happened and in a conversation with her ex-husband, she starts to blame her drinking for their split.

Marie spots Tony and Diane together and she begins to have second thoughts about her new relationship.
With Tony also consulting Darren for relationship advice, is his and Marie’s new romance over before it has even begun?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
