Former Hollyoaks star Callum Kerr has announced his engagement to long-term partner Lauren Stacy.
The soap star - who appeared as PC George Kiss in the Channel 4 soap from 2020-2021 - shared the happy news with his followers on Instagram, describing how he popped the question.
"Took this girl on a horse ride thru the Western Cape and asked if she’d spend the rest of her life with me @laurenstacy7," reads the caption, posted alongside several photos of him and Lauren posing with her engagement ring.

The post also includes a video of Lauren on horseback shortly after the proposal, waving at the camera whilst wearing her new diamond.
Many were quick to send their well wishes to the couple in the comment section of the post, including Callum's former co-star Billy Price (aka Sid Sumner) who wrote "Congrats bro" with a heart emoji.

Callum and Lauren became first-time parents last December after welcoming daughter Isla into the world. They announced their pregnancy news on Instagram in July 2023, with Callum admitting he's "always wanted to be a dad".
The Hollyoaks actor left the soap in 2021 after his character was murdered by Sally St Claire.
He then went on to star in US musical drama Monarch alongside Susan Sarandon and Anna Friel, before pursuing a Nashville country music career.
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
