Following his Hollyoaks exit earlier this year, Callum Kerr has landed a new role in a new US musical drama series alongside some big Hollywood names.
The actor departed as PC George Kiss back in April after his character was killed off, and will now appear in Fox's Monarch alongside the likes of Susan Sarandon, Anna Friel, Trace Adkins and Beth Ditto.
The show is described as a multigenerational musical drama focusing on America's first family of country music, the Romans, with Kerr playing an up-and-coming country singer and son of a pastor called Wade Stellings, Deadline reports.

Monarch follows the Romans, headed by Queen of Country Music Dottie Cantrell Roman (Sarandon) and husband Albie (Adkins), as their reign as country royalty is put into jeopardy.
However, Nicolette 'Nicky' Roman (Friel) stops at nothing to protect her family's legacy while ensuring her own quest for stardom.
Also on board are Joshua Sasse as Luke Roman, who is pursuing Stellings to sign to the monarch label, and Kevin Cahoon as Earl Clark, Dottie's hairdresser and makeup assistant and confidant, while Melissa London Hilfers has created Monarch.

Kerr spoke earlier this year about departing Hollyoaks, telling Digital Spy of his future plans: "I'm going to continue to act. I've always done music as well, so I'll continue acting, doing music, and trying to stay creative.
"I can't say much yet, but I'll be popping up here and there. Anything that I'll be involved in, I'll post about on social media, so that's where you can keep up with everything."
Hollyoaks airs new episodes from Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
