Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks is set to continue Vicky and Ethan’s budding romance storyline.
Vicky has been developing a crush on Ethan in recent weeks, and attempted to flirt with him during a singles’ night at The Loft.
As she tried to get closer to him, Vicky pushed to get a job at The Loft and Ethan agreed to let her undergo a trial shift – and while the crush seemed to be one-sided, it appears that things may be mutual.

Ethan’s head is clearly turned by Vicky, despite denying he fancies her, as the two continue to circle each other at The Loft.
Could romance be on the horizon?
The scenes follow recent reports that Ethan actor Matthew James Bailey may be departing Hollyoaks as part of a recent cast cull – though it appears Ethan won’t be killed off for his exit scenes.

This comes as the soap moves to a shortened schedule from September as events jump forward by a year.
Opening up about the cuts back in March, executive producer Hannah Cheers said that “reducing the team in size is a tough consequence of this transition” to fewer episodes per week.
“It’s not kind to our characters or our audience to have a drawn-out stream of goodbyes on screen, and a heightened stunt didn’t feel like the right approach,” she explained. “We also want the flexibility to see favourite characters again and we got really excited about how this would work.
“We believe this creative approach will celebrate the uniqueness of Hollyoaks and will serve and honour our amazing characters – throwing us forward into exciting new territory as we pave the way to our 30th anniversary in 2025.”
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
