Hollyoaks’ Mercedes McQueen is set to become involved in the current Blue drama, as the plot surrounding their identity thickens.
Since someone attempted to shoot Warren and Zoe suggested it could be the work of a gangster called Blue, he has been desperate to find out who they are and kill them.
Warren has been convinced that Freddie is responsible, so Rex tried to drown him, which left him in a coma – but Blue left some coins around the village while Freddie was in hospital, so they realised it couldn’t be him.

Next week, Blue’s actions will escalate further, with Warren receiving a terrifying bomb threat at Casa McQueen’s opening – the outcome of which has not yet been revealed.

But Hollyoaks has also confirmed that next week, Mercedes will find a phone – just like Ste previously did – which will see her become embroiled in the mystery.
Meanwhile, Warren gets blood tests done that reveal that he has LSD in his system, explaining his paranoid behaviour in recent days.
Warren is unsure how this has happened, concerned he has been spiked, and Ste and Rex deny that they were involved in the plot.

Having announced to her family that she and Warren are a couple again, Mercedes receives her marching orders from the McQueens’ house.
She is distraught at the prospect of choosing between her family and Warren and is unsure what to do.
But she soon gets a big surprise from Warren, who reveals that Fraser’s cash is in the attic of their new house before giving her the keys.
This is a big development, because Mercedes was previously working with Grace and Freddie to try to get Fraser’s money back from Warren, but she was never able to find it.

But it appears that Mercedes is once again working against Warren, as at the new house she stuffs the money into suitcases that she hides when he appears.
She receives a message on the new phone from Blue, which tells her she has 30 minutes to get this money to them.
However, her plan goes awry when Warren catches Mercedes with the suitcases, and she is forced to admit to him and Norma that she was giving Blue the money to save her family.
Mercedes then gives Warren an ultimatum – but what does she say?
