Hollyoaks is revisiting more of Brendan Brady's storyline in Hollyoaks Favourites.
The popular soap is currently airing reruns on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays each week, after cutting down on the number of weekly new episodes.
Show bosses have now announced plans to repeat three more Brendan-focused editions next week.
On Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28, fans will have another chance to see Brendan's memorable trip to Dublin with his lover Ste Hay, which originally aired in December 2012.
On Friday, May 29, the show will then air the drama-filled 2013 episode where police surrounded the club and Brendan decided to take the blame for the murder of his abusive father Seamus, which was committed by his sister Cheryl.
The full synopses for these episodes follow below:
What to Read Next
Wednesday, May 27 – Episode 3498
It's awkward between Brendan, Ste and John Paul. JP is surprised to learn that Ste is gay, while Brendan can't believe JP is a McQueen. Ste storms off, leaving Brendan instantly regretting what he's just done.
In the hotel lobby, Brendan catches up with Ste, but when Ste says they can finally be together, Brendan pushes him away again, afraid to break his deal with God. Cheryl urges her brother to go for it – surely God would want him to be happy. He gets all the confirmation he needs when a nun gets into a lift with him and echoes Cheryl's exact words – he has to find Ste.
Ste waits on the Ha'Penny Bridge and just as he's given up hope, Brendan appears, it's fate. They declare their love for each other.
Thursday, May 28 – Episode 3499
Ste and Brendan are loved up and decide to take a tour of Dublin. As Brendan openly shows his affection for Ste, it's clear how much he's changed. However, when they come across a boarded-up pub, Brendan's face turns ashen and he tells Ste it belongs to his abusive father.
Together, they smash up the pub, which is a release. Cheryl is delighted when they return hand-in-hand to Hollyoaks. However, there's darkness on the horizon as Seamus, Brendan's dad, arrives in the village.
Friday, May 29 – Episode 3564
Cheryl is trembling, with the realisation that she has killed her father setting in, while Ste calls the police having heard the shot.
Brendan washes Cheryl's hands, trying to get rid of the residue from her shot and she feels sick that she didn't realise what was happening to her brother.
Outside, police cars surround the club as Brendan decides he has to take the bullet for Cheryl – she didn't kill Seamus, he did.
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes on Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 7pm on E4.
