Hollyoaks' Cindy Cunningham will be left devastated when Luke Morgan rejects her after they get passionate again next week.
Cindy (Stephanie Waring) was recently named as Luke's new love interest following his return to the village, but it was obvious that their romance was never going to be without its obstacles.
With Luke still unsure about pursuing a proper relationship with Cindy, he will leave her furious in next week's scenes when he continues to give her mixed messages.
As Luke starts to reflect on his life choices, he tells Darren that he was foolish to think it would work with him being back in the village and asks his friend to buy him out of The Hutch.

Gary Lucy, who plays Luke, recently told Digital Spy: "I think Cindy falls for Luke quicker than he falls for her. It's a bit of fun at first – a 'will they, won't they?' dynamic. It takes him a while to realise that there are genuine feelings there."
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4.
