Brody Hudson has made a life-changing decision about having a child with Sienna Blake in Hollyoaks after getting cold feet.
The couple reconciled earlier this week after Sienna's abandoned plot to run off with the twins, deciding instead to pursue having a child together using Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart) as a surrogate.
Yet in Thursday's first-look E4 episode, Brody (Adam Woodward) was already having second thoughts about using Liberty as the couple's surrogate.
"Well, she's my ex-girlfriend for starters," he pointed out to Sienna.
Liberty picked up on their tension while interrupting their discussion, and tried soothing any doubts they might be having.
"I am happy to be doing this because family means everything to me," she assured them. "Carrying this baby has given me a whole new purpose in life."

Later in the day, Liberty got a shock when Brody ambushed her in town to confess his doubts about using her as a surrogate.
"We haven't thought this through properly," he insisted. "We need to pump the breaks and let Sienna get back to normal."
Brody explained that he was only comfortable with using a surrogate if the couple used someone they didn't actually know.
"What if you don't want to give up the baby? Then Sienna would lose her sister and her child," he worried.
An angry Liberty shot back: "I would never do that! I was even prepared to go on the run with her. I want what's best for her, and if the past week has taught me anything, it's just how much she wants to be a mum.
"If there is even a chance I can help her with that, I'm going to whether you like it or not!"
After a pep talk from Damon (Jacob Roberts) about how fatherhood would be, Brody returned to the flat to set things right with Sienna.
"I'm sorry about Liberty trying to help us out. I just didn't want to make a rash decision," he explained to her. "Especially after everything that happened this week, I had to make sure my head was in the right place.
"[Liberty] made me see that keeping it in the family is the right decision. So, I have something I need to ask you!"
Brody then presented Sienna with a pacifier and asked her to be his "baby mama". While that might not have necessarily have been the proposal she was expecting, Sienna chuckled.
"Well, with an offer like that, how could I possibly refuse?" she answered.
In the closing seconds of the episode, Liberty joined in on the celebration to assure the couple that they were going to be "the best parents".
Unfortunately, the good times might not last because Jamie Lomas will be returning to Hollyoaks as Sienna's vengeful ex Warren Fox before long!
Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
