What to Read Next
"It's compelling evidence that the criminals shifting these fake goods are likely using people trapped in modern slavery to make them. If Caleb thought this was a scheme that only hurt fools willing to part with cash for knock-off items, he's deeply mistaken."
Straight away, his co-conspirator Kerry insists that Caleb must tell the police about what he's found. But Caleb stalls, and soon suspicious Bear goes looking for the offending item.
He's appalled to read the plea for help and gives Caleb a piece of his mind, along with a brutal insight into what life is like for those trapped by predators, like he was by Ray Walters and Celia Daniels.

Although Bear's words hit home, Caleb finds it hard to do the right thing when it's going to cost him so much. Instead he immediately goes looking for another way to turn a quick profit.
"It's Kammy who inadvertently gives Caleb his next idea," explains our spy. "He starts talking about car parts and the massive difference in markup between branded and non-branded items.
"Caleb has never been fussed about getting his hands dirty if it means turning a profit, and this seems like a much cleaner way to boost the bank balance."
