Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Cain Dingle and Tracy Robinson will clash once again on Emmerdale as the storyline involving the late Nate continues.

Nate's body was tragically found at the bottom of the lake earlier this year, with viewers knowing that John Sugden was actually responsible for his death. This fact, however, is unknown to the residents of the Dales.

Cain and Tracy have both come under suspicion for the murder, with each individual accusing the other of the killing. As tensions escalated between the pair, Tracy banned Cain and the Dingle clan from attending the funeral.

In scenes set to air on Thursday (10 July), Tracy will continue her preparations for the service, with the character being resolute in her stance of not having the Dingles in attendance. This, along with some wise words from Sarah, has led Cain to make alternative arrangements.

As he puts up posters of another memorial service around the village, Cain clashes with a furious Tracy, who calls him out. She accuses him of being inconsiderate towards her and his granddaughter Frankie, leaving him bemused.

"Cain is genuinely mortified when Tracy reminds him about Frankie," our Emmerdale source shares. "Tracy has previously mentioned how Frankie is confused over Nate's death and struggling to accept the news.

"Frankie seeing Nate's face plastered on posters around the village makes everything worse, as she's clearly confused. It's also another setback for Tracy during her grief. Can she and Cain ever get on the same page?"

While Cain and Tracy continue to be at loggerheads, the ITV soap recently introduced a new character in the shape of Jaye Griffiths's Celia Daniels, a "no-nonsense" farmer who has made an immediate impression in the village.

Looking ahead to the future, Griffiths revealed that her character will quarrel with Kim Tate, teasing: "Let’s put it this way - Kim and Celia will be having the odd chat! Kim will have a competitor - we have got two women who don’t apologise for taking up space.

"Celia won’t diminish herself to make people feel comfortable and she will never apologise for anything. She is simply out to get exactly [what] she wants and everyone is going to have to watch out!"

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
