Once Dawn and Billy are gone, there's a big shock for Kim as Joe arrives back at Home Farm unannounced.
His comeback probably isn't the wisest move – Joe had been strongly advised by his partner-in-crime Dr Crowley to stay away from the village after his sinister plan to steal Caleb Miligan's kidney.
It seems that Joe has other ideas, though, willing to take the risk of being caught out by Caleb as he focuses on his big new mission – winning Dawn back.
This is sure to go down very badly with Kim, who's never approved over Joe and Dawn's affair.

So, could Dawn be tempted by Joe again, or has she closed the door on their fling after he left the village and abandoned her with no explanation?
Whatever happens, there's sure to be an eventful few weeks ahead for Joe as Emmerdale bosses recently confirmed that he will ultimately get his comeuppance for what he did to Caleb.
Will Ash, who plays Caleb, has already told us what to expect when his character inevitably discovers the truth.
"It's such a huge violation for someone to do this. It's compounded by the fact that it's someone who Caleb thought had saved his life," Will teased this week.

"Caleb would be incandescent with rage and he would want to kill Joe. In other situations, Caleb is not impulsive. He's quite calculated. He lets things happen and then he'll choose a moment to get revenge.
"But I think, with something like this, he'd just fly off the handle. It'd be totally out of character for him to be that extreme with his reaction, but it makes sense."
Emmerdale airs Joe's return tonight at 7.30pm on ITV1, while the episode is streaming early now on ITVX.
