Emmerdale has confirmed the first suspect in Manpreet Sharma's blackmailing ordeal, as she comes across her first possible lead.
It was recently revealed to viewers that Manpreet has set up an Only Fans-style page, which has earned her a number of online fans.
As far as Manpreet was aware, the only other villager who knew her secret was Leyla Harding, who passed away after being seriously injured in the limo crash.

However, she's since started receiving threatening messages, with a mysterious person threatening to reveal her secret sideline, which Manpreet fears could cause her to lose her job.

In scenes that will air next week, Manpreet continues to have sleepless nights over the blackmail, particularly after the culprit suggests this week that they are watching her when she receives a threatening message while chatting with Ella Forster.
Manpreet decides to meet up with her blackmailer, hoping that if she pays them the money that they're demanding, her ordeal will finally come to an end.

As she heads to the Cricket Pavilion, Manpreet braces herself to face the mystery blackmailer in person – and it isn't long before Joe Tate appears.
As Manpreet tears into him, asking how he could be so cruel, Joe appears to have no idea what she's talking about as he claims to be innocent.
When Manpreet calms down, her fears over who the real blackmailer is start to build all over again. As she and Joe talk, he makes a surprise offer to help her pay off the blackmailer and end her nightmare.

When Digital Spy recently chatted with Roxy Shahidi, who played Leyla, the star joked that "Leyla definitely would have told everybody about Manpreet, accidentally on purpose" if she had lived.
"She'll have just loved that and wouldn't have been able to keep it to herself," she said.
