Monday's episode saw tensions rumble on at Home Farm, as Dawn continued to harshly blame Joe Tate for her father's death.
Dawn was forced to reconsider her behaviour when the post-mortem results were confirmed by the coroner.
The report stated that Will had died of natural causes, ruling out any suspicion of foul play.
Finally dropping her vendetta, Dawn apologised to Joe for her emotional accusations and was relieved when he agreed to let the matter rest.

Despite this, a new chapter of drama looked likely to unfold as Dawn later discovered a USB stick hidden among Will's belongings, which had her name written on it.
Dawn investigated the contents and found a video that Will had recorded at the height of his dark feud with Kim late last year.
Speaking in the clip, Will explained: "Dawn, I hope it's you that's watching and not someone else.
"But if you are, then that means that I'm dead. It also means that Kim did it."
Despite the coroner's findings, will Dawn now suspect that Kim had a hand in her father's demise?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
