Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Gabby Thomas feels crushed next week as she struggles to impress Kim Tate at Home Farm.

Gabby is feeling the pressure to win over Kim, who recently offered up the chance to shadow her at the business in order to learn the ropes.

Kim offered the same opportunity to Dawn Fletcher, promising a permanent job to the most impressive candidate once the process is over.

However, upcoming scenes see Dawn decide to step aside from the Home Farm battle, fearing that the long hours are causing her to miss out on spending enough time with Lucas and Clemmie.

Rosie Bentham, who plays Gabby, told Digital Spy and other media: "Since Jamie, she's not really had any male attention. I mean, she's a mum at the end of the day, but she's now trying to get in a bit more with Kim. Kim has offered her the new jobs.

"Then a male walks in and that's all thrown to the side! We've been filming quite a lot together and Gabby and Nicky do get along well at the minute. So there's lots to come with that."

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
