1. Emmerdale: Moira joins forces with Caleb
(Monday at 7.30pm on ITV)
Despite fearing Cain may never speak to her again, Moira goes with her gut and accepts Caleb's offer of help this week. The newcomer insists the best course of action is for Kyle to argue that he killed Al to protect his dad and Moira agrees.
However, when the pair arrive at the prison to reveal their plan to Cain, he's livid and can't believe they're using Caleb's lawyers to represent Kyle. Unable to contain his fury, Cain lunges at his brother, forcing a guard to intervene.
The outburst leaves Moira fearing her husband has blown his last chance of freedom, but Caleb is undeterred in their mission.
Back in the village, Chas comes face-to-face with Kyle for the first time since learning the truth and is heartbroken when her nephew offers a genuine apology for his actions.

Meanwhile, Amy's having a hard time watching Kyle being ostracised, so Liam decides to pay Cain a visit, hoping to convince him to change his mind. Unfortunately it's no use, and with the stubborn Dingle refusing to budge, Liam is forced to admit defeat.
2. Coronation Street: Max makes a shocking discovery
(Tuesday at 8pm on ITV)
Having left home to move in with Griff, Max is getting sucked deeper into his friend's world of far-right activism.
Meanwhile, with Maria planning to rebrand the Christmas market as a Peace Festival, Griff lures Spider to his flat under false pretences. Moments later, Spider receives a text from Max asking him to meet urgently, but is then confronted by Griff, who knocks him out with a crowbar.
As Maria and her group of helpers set up all the stalls, Max fears something is amiss when he sees the Speed Daal van on Victoria Street – having been told by Griff it was at the bottom of the canal.
When Lauren receives a call from her dad, warning her to stay away from the market, Max insists they need alert the police. But are they already too late?
3. EastEnders: Phil is out for revenge
(Wednesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)
The New Year gets off to a strong start for Phil as he sees it in at Peggy's, surrounded by his loved ones. But just moments into 2023, the mood shifts, leading him to deliver a serious threat.
Having regained the upper hand, triumphant Phil organises a celebratory Mitchell family lunch, while others secretly seethe.
Later, at the club, a shock revelation about the past makes Billy's world implode, and Phil is back on the warpath after realising he has been double-crossed. Taking matters into his own hands, the Walford top dog soon becomes desperate, forcing him to accept help from an unlikely source.
4. Hollyoaks: Maxine vows to bring Eric down
(Tuesday at 7pm on E4 and Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)
Having managed to get her hands on Eric's laptop, Maxine's next mission is to try and figure out his password. In search of clues, Maxine offers to help arrange Verity's funeral, secretly hoping Eric will open up about his childhood.
Later, Maxine learns Eric has placed an order and steals his package, but he manages to get it back before she finds out what it was.
What Maxine does discover is a letter from Eric's former flatmate, Seamus, telling him to change before it's too late. Armed with the evidence, she shows it to James and asks for his help on the case. At first, the lawyer isn't convinced of Eric's guilt, but changes his mind after receiving a call from Seamus.
Together, Maxine and James meet up with Seamus, who fills them in on what he knows, insisting Eric is a dangerous individual.
5. Emmerdale: Jacob catches Leyla out
(Monday at 7.30pm on ITV)
Leyla's under pressure at work and Liam is adding to her stress by trying to hurry their divorce along. An argument erupts when she gets wind of Liam's Christmas kiss with Bernice. The doctor tries to explain himself, but Leyla doesn't want to hear it and angrily orders him to leave her alone.
In a state of distress, Leyla searches through her bags trying to find a fix, but stops herself from contacting former dealer, Callum. However, after a bad day at Take A Vow, the temptation proves too much and she makes the call.
An agitated Callum is wary, thinking Leyla's setting a trap as the pair meet by a viaduct and make the transaction. Leyla returns to Tug Ghyll, but is caught in the act when Jacob walks in and discovers she's using again. Disappointed by his mum's relapse, the lad forms a plan to help.
6. Coronation Street: Stephen faces a new threat
(Monday at 8pm on ITV)
Stephen accompanies Jenny to the hospital to visit Teddy, but is alarmed when Leo's dad suddenly regains consciousness.
The doctors reveal Teddy can't remember anything that happened before the accident, so Jenny invites him to move into The Rovers while he recuperates, leaving Stephen in a state of total panic.
7. EastEnders: Tragedy strikes at the Slaters'
(Sunday at 6.30pm on BBC One)
The Slaters' New Year's Eve knees-up is in full swing, and while Jean is hiding out in her bedroom panicking about Harvey getting cold feet, Eve is shaken when former lover Suki turns up to the party with Nish. Accepting their gift of a bottle of whiskey, Eve encourages the couple to stay and sets about trying to befriend Nish.
Later, as the clock counts down to midnight, disaster strikes when Jean suddenly faints in Stacey's arms, Lily collapses in the hallway, and Eve also slumps to the ground unconscious.
Paramedics arrive at the scene and evacuate the partygoers from the house, revealing there has been a carbon monoxide leak.
As news of the near fatal incident spreads, Nish panics that the Slaters will sue over the dodgy boiler, and tries to strong-arm Ben into doing a deal on The Arches.
Harvey is appalled by the landlord's deflective tactics, and publicly calls him out on it. Elsewhere, Suki takes a call from the Health and Safety Investigator, who reveals they know who is at fault for the boiler.
8. Hollyoaks: Misbah risks her career to save Imran
(Wednesday at 7pm on E4 and Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)
As news of Imran's disappearance from the eating disorder clinic reaches the Maaliks, worried Misbah reports it to the police. Just as she's doing so, Zain discovers Imran collapsed in the village and brings him home. But the family's relief is short-lived when Imran's health takes a sudden turn and he's rushed to hospital.
While Imran's loved ones fear he may never wake up again, Misbah is confronted by Dr Lewis, who has discovered she tampered with her son's medical records to get him admitted into the clinic.
Pointing out she committed data fraud, Lewis warns Misbah she could lose her job, which leaves her with an important decision to make.
9. Home and Away: Marilyn flees the Bay
(Wednesday at 1.45pm on Channel 5)
As the Heather hostage situation escalates, alarm bells are ringing for Justin when Marilyn, Leah and Irene all fail to turn up to work at the Diner. Believing Heather is behind their disappearance, he informs Cash and Rose that she's Marilyn's secret daughter.
The pair request a check on Heather's home address and receive news from the local cops that the body of her adoptive mother has been found in a chest freezer on the property.
Fearing the worst, Justin remembers the name of Heather's old boarding school – Crestview. Arriving at the scene, the police find Alf struggling to breathe after having had his drink spiked. They rescue Leah and Irene, but Heather makes off through the building with Marilyn.
Dragging her mum to the ledge of a balcony, Heather refuses to listen to Cash's reasoning and let Marilyn go. But in her desperate attempt to escape, Heather's foot slips and she tumbles off the ledge onto the concrete ground below.
At the hospital, Heather regains consciousness and Marilyn goes to her bedside, tearfully explaining that she can't be part of her life anymore. Heartbroken, Heather taunts Marilyn, accusing her of abandoning her for a second time.
In the wake of the ordeal, Marilyn can't help but fear her friends see her differently, and in despair, she slips away from Summer Bay, leaving a note to say goodbye. Has she gone for good?
