Emmerdale's Mackenzie gets nasty shock in Chloe baby storyline

Emmerdale's Mackenzie Boyd fears his big secret could be exposed next month as Chloe Harris becomes his surprising new housemate.

Mack has been determined to cut Chloe out of his life following his discovery that she's expecting his baby.

In early January, Mack is rocked when Sarah Sugden informs him that a struggling Chloe has collapsed and been taken to hospital.

Sarah is desperately worried for her friend, so she brings Mack and Charity to visit Chloe at the hospital to show they all care.

Charity and Sarah offer to let Chloe move in with them. Although Chloe is secretly uncomfortable over living under the same roof as Charity and Mack, she feels trapped as Charity and Sarah won't take no for an answer.

Mack is horrified when he discovers that Chloe has moved in. He tries his best to hatch a new scheme and oust Chloe from the house, but will his efforts backfire and land him in trouble with Charity?

Speaking to Digital Spy and other media earlier this month, Emmerdale's executive producer Jane Hudson commented: "We know that Mackenzie is the father of Chloe's baby and again, that's another secret in the village that's probably not going to be kept secret for long.

"We have got Charity and Mackenzie's wedding on the cards, which will be happening next year.

"I think we all know weddings don't always go very smoothly and Chloe's baby will be due around the time of the wedding, so you can put the pieces together yourselves and figure out what might happen somewhere around the wedding date and the birth date.

"It will be explosive for Charity and Mackenzie."
