Naomi has made a shocking revelation over Nicola's attack in Emmerdale.
The newcomer was taken in for questioning by police in Thursday's double bill (September 1) over her connection to the incident.
Viewers will remember that Nicola continues to be plagued with traumatic memories of being assaulted by multiple women in a parking garage earlier this year.
Naomi recently arrived in the village to get to know her long-lost dad Charles and brother Ethan, but she has also hit it off romantically with Nate.

In these new scenes, Naomi seemed to be going from strength to strength with Nate as he dropped her off for her first day of work at the café.
However, trouble arose when Nicola came in and had a visceral flashback to the beating. Nicola saw a flash of Naomi's trainers and remembered echoes of her voice in her vision.
A panicked Nicola turned to Harriet and the local police with her suspicions about Naomi.
Naomi's first day on the job ended in a shocking fashion when she was taken in for questioning over the attack.

Because the police had no tangible evidence, they couldn't hold Naomi when she insisted she is innocent.
However, Naomi confided in her dad Charles that she was actually at the scene of the crime when Nicola was beaten.
