Emmerdale's Laura Norton expecting second child with Mark Jordon

Emmerdale star Laura Norton is expecting her second child with former co-star Mark Jordon.

Laura shared the happy news on Instagram with a photo of herself and Mark sitting together and looking at each other, whilst her baby bump was visible, along with the caption "Round 2" followed by an emoji of a pregnant woman and a baby.

Since the post, the Kerry Wyatt actress has received hundreds of comments and congratulations from fans, co-stars and celebrities.

Fellow Emmerdale star and Mandy Dingle actress Lisa Riley congratulated them, writing: "Yipeeeeeeeee [clapping hands emojis]. So much love to you both, we are elated for you."

Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Kerry's daughter Amy in the soap, said: "Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!!!", whilst Daisy Campbell, who plays her former step-daughter Amelia Spencer, added: "I can't wait [heart emoji]".

He used the post to thank the mum-to-be and said that his older children Poppy and Joe get to share this new adventure with their half-sibling Jesse.

"Jesse, Poppy and Joe get to share our next adventure," wrote Jordan. "Thank you [Laura] for the most special gift you've brought me. Thank you for being an amazing mum.

"Our next special little person is very lucky to have your care, love and brilliant view of life. Let the adventures begin again. You're working so hard in the Dales and give so much to us all. All five of us are blessed to have you in our world. Thank you."

The couple welcomed their first child, Jesse, last year writing at the time: "Jesse Jordon we're all head over heels in love with you."
