Emmerdale has aired a big relationship update for Vanessa Woodfield and Suzy Merton.
The couple split up earlier in the month after Suzy's drug use came out, in addition to the fact that she'd given Holly Barton money that she used to buy heroin the night she overdosed.
Last week, Vanessa tearfully admitted to Suzy that they could never reconcile because of the stigma around Suzy in the village relating to Holly's death.
In Monday's episode (July 25), Paddy tried to convince Vanessa that Moira would be able to forgive in time, yet Vanessa didn't seem quite so convinced.
Paddy went round to Moira's to try to convince her to give Vanessa and Suzy her blessing. When Moira pointed out Suzy wasn't right for their friend, Paddy insisted: "Good people do bad things.

"You know that better than anyone. Imagine if people didn't give you a second chance."
With Paddy's words ringing in her mind, Moira visited Vanessa to acknowledge that while Suzy "put temptation in Holly's way", her daughter made the decision to buy drugs.
"This doesn't come easy for me, but what if I give you my blessing?" Moira asked Vanessa. "I mean, for you, and not her. I don't really care about Suzy's happiness but I care about yours.
"If you love her the way that I think that you do, you should follow your heart."
Vanessa and Suzy later reconnected in the village, officially getting back together. As they shared a joyful hug, they didn't notice Holly's furious brother Matty was driving by, glaring at them.
Will Suzy and Vanessa's happiness be short-lived?
