Suzy Merton has discovered a shocking connection to Holly Barton's death in Emmerdale.
Having arrived in the village a few weeks ago, Suzy is already hiding the fact that she is Leyla Harding's drug supplier from her new girlfriend Vanessa Woodfield.
In Friday's (May 20) episode, Suzy dropped hints to Leyla that she could get her more drugs if she was struggling in any way.
However, the pair were in for a horrifying realisation when they joined Vanessa to visit Moira Barton. After learning Moira buried Holly in the field next to the barn, Suzy was soon to find out her own connection to Holly.
After Moira excused herself, Leyla pointed out a photo of Holly on the fridge – and Suzy remembered she'd given Holly the money to buy heroin six years ago.

Holly explained to Leyla that she was mates with Holly after hooking her up with a photography job and had given Holly money to score drugs for her. Holly was supposed to buy cocaine but bought heroin instead.
"I told her to take her low-life, junkie body back to the gutter where it belonged," Suzy ashamedly confessed. "That was it. I didn't text. I didn't call. I deleted her number.
"What kind of mate does that, eh? Just abandons someone."
Suzy was later horrified to realise the heroin Holly bought was what killed her, leaving Leyla stunned.
New Emmerdale cast member Martelle Edinborough recently spoke about the repercussions for Suzy now that she knows about Holly's overdose.
"She doesn't want anyone to know that she knew Holly, and she becomes really scared and worried – not that her cover has been blown as she's not trying to hide anything, but she doesn't realise the connections and now that she does, she's scared that people are going to blame her for things," the actress explained.
