Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Sandra Flaherty remains up to no good next week as she tries to steal money from the salon.

Sandra has returned to the village and has manipulated her daughter Liv Dingle with her sob stories, but viewers are now aware that she can't be trusted.

Tuesday night's episode (July 12) revealed that Sandra is secretly in cahoots with troublesome newcomer Terry, having previously told Liv that he was hassling her over an unpaid debt.

After tricking Liv into handing over cash to settle the supposed debt, Sandra confided in Terry about how she planned to take her daughter for all she has.

Upcoming episodes see an oblivious Liv continue her efforts to help Sandra by getting her a job at the salon.

The business's owner Mandy Dingle is welcoming towards Sandra, although Bernice Blackstock is less enthused when she realises that Sandra will be shadowing her.

Next week, Sandra spots a new opportunity to make some quick cash when she betrays her colleagues at the salon by happily pocketing a £10 tip.

When Mandy notices and questions the missing tip money, Sandra makes her excuses.

After the close call, Sandra knows that she'll have to tread much more carefully around Mandy from now on. Can she continue her scams undetected?

Joanne Mitchell, who plays Sandra, recently spoke to Digital Spy and other press about reprising her role for this storyline.

She said: "It was great to come back, actually. Obviously I've been backwards and forwards a few times over the years. But this time it was really good fun because Sandra is a great character to play.

"It's good working with Izzy, who plays Liv. In the past, mostly all my work was with Izzy and Danny Miller who played Aaron. So this time it's going to be great to expand and work with other members of the cast.

"It's just seeing a few more layers to Sandra's character and just developing her a bit more and seeing where the journey goes. I think it'll be really good. I'm pleased and it's a great bunch of people to work with."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
