Emmerdale has hinted at Kim Tate's revenge plan after catching out Mackenzie Boyd.
Before the new year, viewers saw the pair form an alliance after Kim was impressed by Mack's resourcefulness, seeing a good opportunity to take on another henchman.
Since his arrival in the village, Mack has dragged Charity Dingle back into a life of crime, convincing her to carry out a number of robberies. On New Year's Day, the pair even broke into Kim's house, only for Mackenzie to sell out Charity in an attempt to gain Kim's trust.

In tonight's scenes (January 4), Kim agreed to let Mackenzie move back into Home Farm, after he supposedly proved his loyalty to her by exposing Charity.

However, in the closing scenes, viewers saw Kim watching back the CCTV footage of the break-in, which proved that Mackenzie was there with Charity too and could be heard boasting that he was going to cause more problems for Kim.
It seems that Kim has Mackenzie exactly where she wants him, but will she toy with him for a little bit longer?
Elsewhere in tonight's episode, the soap continued to explore Kim's ongoing chemistry with Will Taylor.
Kim soon decided to hire Will as her new groundsman, putting him in the perfect position to keep a close eye on DI Malone's new burial spot.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode on Thursdays at 8pm.
