Emmerdale's Cain Dingle is very unhappy tonight (December 22) as his plans for Christmas threaten to be ruined by Mackenzie Boyd.
Cain (Jeff Hordley) is hoping for a happier festive season now that he has reunited with his wife Moira, but the presence of Mackenzie in the village could jeopardise that.
In Tuesday's episode, Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) considers his future in the village after another setback.
When Mackenzie pays a visit to Home Farm to discuss his stolen goods, which are still on Kim Tate's property at HOP, it's clear that his new enemy is firmly in control.

After being put in his place by Kim (Claire King), Mackenzie becomes downhearted and heads to Butler's Farm to see Moira.
Mackenzie explains that he has decided to leave the village as he's no longer welcome with the Tates, but Moira (Natalie J Robb) is quick to offer him a place at Butler's.
Unsurprisingly, this doesn't go down well with Cain, who was kidnapped by Mackenzie a few weeks ago. Cain now faces the prospect of having to endure a very awkward Christmas with Mackenzie never too far away.

Later, Mack believes things are going his way again when he meets up with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) outside a barn where he has stashed their stolen merchandise.
The pair flirt and Charity can't help but feel attracted to Mackenzie, but should she really trust him?
