Emmerdale has hinted that Priya Kotecha could uncover Al Chapman's affair in the New Year.
As viewers know, Al has been exchanging text messages and phone calls with a mystery woman in recent weeks, and was almost caught out by his son Ellis.
Although Al's secret lady will be revealed to viewers on Christmas Day, Priya will remain completely oblivious to his betrayal in the days that follow.

However, when Priya asks Ellis to help her invite Al's parents to the wedding, there's a chance that their meddling will expose his affair.

One thing's for certain – she won't be too pleased when she eventually uncovers the truth, with Fiona Wade promising we'll get to see a different side to her character.
"She is definitely not a walkover, I think Priya is a strong woman. She is a single working mum who helps run a business," the actress previously told Digital Spy and other media.
"She has been hurt before – so she is a woman who has been through it, so it's not new to her. She will be heartbroken but we shouldn't underestimate that she's a strong woman. She won't take anything lying down – so you might see a different side to her."
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Tuesday, December 29 at 7pm on ITV.
