Emmerdale has promised that the identity of Al Chapman's mystery woman will be revealed this Christmas.
Viewers have recently seen Al (Michael Wildman) behaving suspiciously with texts and phone calls to an unknown lady, even though he's supposed to be in a committed relationship with Priya Kotecha.
As Christmas week begins in the village, Priya (Fiona Wade) is adamant that she wants Al all to herself following his recent absences.
Despite this, Al still can't resist sending one last message to his unknown contact and seems to be very pleased with himself over the game that he's playing.

On Christmas Day, Al first focuses his efforts on Priya by giving her an expensive necklace as a gift. Priya is touched as the piece of jewellery matches her daughter Amba's necklace.
Later, though, Al's attention shifts elsewhere as he wants to get away and meet up with his mistress. He concocts a story in order to keep Priya clueless over what he's up to.

Emmerdale fans will see Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale), Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) all receive mysterious texts, putting them firmly in the frame as Al's lover.
All will be revealed as the Christmas episode plays out – who else is Al seeing?
Emmerdale airs an hour-long special on Christmas Day at 6pm on ITV.
