Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale saw Harriet Finch reach breaking point tonight (November 27) following her split from Will Taylor.
Recent scenes have shown the pair separated following the discovery of Harriet's affair with DI Malone and then his subsequent death, but in this evening's episode, things went public.
Village gossiper Nicola King overheard Will (Dean Andrews) confiding in Andrea Tate about his split from Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) and watched as they went off together, immediately concluding they were having an affair.
Shortly after, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) interrupted Harriet opening up about their split to Moira Dingle by telling them what she'd just seen and that the pair looked "cosy".
Then, Will and Andrea returned from their chat and Nicola revelled in goading them all with what she thought had been going on.

"Stop acting as if nothing's going on. He's just another middle-aged man with a midlife crisis," she told them. "I saw you with my own eyes, carrying on in front of everyone."
When Andrea pointed out they were just having a conversation, Nicola scoffed.
"I can tell, you know, when people are hiding things," Nicola told them. "Come on! You've split up and Harriet's upset, something's up."
Eventually after a lot of bickering between them all, Harriet finally confessed that it had been her who had played away and that Will hadn't done anything wrong.
After a quiet chat between Will and Harriet, where he thanked her for admitting it had been her, he confirmed that they definitely were over, leaving her quite upset.
She went back into the church and screamed at how she was meant to be a Christian and that she had "ruined everything", before trashing the room and destroying the Christmas decorations.
At least everyone now knows the real reason the wedding is off and Harriet can stop making up lies to cover it up.
