Emmerdale's Harriet Finch regrets being dishonest with her friends next week as she continues to protect the DI Malone murder secret.
Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) is currently pretending that everything is fine in her relationship with Will Taylor, even though they secretly split up weeks ago.
The village vicar is trying to make out that her life is as normal as possible, to avoid arousing suspicions over DI Malone's death. However, the pressure of keeping up appearances with Will (Dean Andrews) is proving unbearable.
Next week, Harriet gets upset when Will makes more hurtful remarks towards her.

Harriet later tells Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) that her wedding to Will has been called off, but only because they can't afford it.
She lets Will know about this cover story, but he continues to behave coldly towards her.
Harriet's lie leads to panic when Laurel and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) soon drop the bombshell that the wedding can be saved.
