Emmerdale's Moira Dingle received a shock call from the police tonight (September 2), as new information about her hit-and-run emerged.
At the beginning of last month, Moira was unknowingly run over by Jamie Tate who, at the time, was desperately searching for his estranged with wife Andrea.
Jamie soon confessed the crime to his true love Belle Dingle, with his mother Kim also working out that it was him who ran over Moira after seeing the damage and blood on his car.
In tonight's scenes, Jamie was concerned to hear that Belle was helping Moira out at Butlers, not trusting his girlfriend to keep quiet about the incident.
Realising that she could make the most of the opportunity, Belle agreed to steer clear of Moira, but only if Jamie convinced Kim to send a client's business to Butlers.

Later on, Moira received a call from the police notifying her that they'd found a new witness to her hit-and-run.

Moira was left stunned by the revelation, with the reality of the situation suddenly dawning on her.
