Emmerdale's Paddy Kirk pays an emotional visit to Grace's grave tonight (March 20) as he questions his own parenting skills.
Paddy (Dominic Brunt) is plagued with guilt after accidentally leaving his baby daughter Eve unattended in an open car when he rushed his best friend Marlon Dingle to the hospital.
In Friday's episode, Paddy and his partner Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) continue to face the consequences of his actions.
Eve has been kept in hospital overnight for observation and is doing fine, but the doctors warn that social services will have to be informed about what happened.

Paddy and Chas are reassured that this is just a precaution, due to the amount of time that Eve was left alone.

Despite this, a stressed-out Paddy can't help himself from jumping to the worst conclusions, immediately fretting over the possibility that Eve could be taken away.
Later, Paddy returns home and confides in his father Bear Wolf about the troubling situation.

He also visits the grave of his and Chas's first daughter Grace, who tragically passed away just a few minutes after being born in 2018.
Paddy and Chas are both painfully aware that they could have lost another daughter, if yesterday's events had played out differently. But can they move forward, or is their relationship under threat?
