Emmerdale airs a worrying storyline for Noah Dingle tonight (December 23) as his life hangs in the balance.
Noah (Jack Downham) is left in a desperate state after taking drugs that he confiscated from his troubled niece Sarah Sugden.
Viewers know that Noah has been trying to protect Sarah (Katie Hill) from drugs and the bad influence of newcomer Danny, but ended up swallowing a pill himself during a low moment.

In tonight's episode, viewers will see Noah left unconscious in the woods after suffering a bad reaction to the pill.
Although Sarah is worried over Noah's sudden disappearing act, she tries to avoid any suspicion by telling Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) that the schoolboy slept over at Samson's.

Sarah also has to deal with the latest demands from Danny, who threatens to visit the village as he now wants her to return the drugs supply that she hid for safekeeping.
Although nobody knows that Noah is in a critical condition out in the woods, it's only a matter of time before his loved ones realise something is seriously wrong. Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) lets Charity and Vanessa know that Samson hasn't seen Noah since the day before.

With the pressure mounting, will Sarah tell everyone what has really been going on?
Emmerdale bosses first teased this storyline at a press event earlier this month, promising some strong family-based scenes for Charity and Vanessa.
Executive producer Jane Hudson told Digital Spy and other media: "Noah, bless him, is just trying to look after Sarah and it's all going horribly wrong.
"What's great about this storyline is that you really see Charity being a mum. You see Charity and Vanessa being parents together. Whatever Charity's doing, she loves her children and that really comes across in this storyline."
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
