Just like the band Mud once famously proclaimed, it'll be lonely this Christmas... for Emmerdale's Moira Dingle and Nate Robinson.
With adulterer Moira slowly dragging herself further down into alcoholism, upcoming scenes are set to feature her and husband Cain having another angry tiff, which leads to Moira spending the big day alone.

Elsewhere, Moira's bit-on-the-side Nate is distraught to be excluded from all of the festivities as he overhears the Dingles chatting about their Christmas plans.
But things soon change for Nate, as on Christmas Day he receives a surprise last minute invite to join the family and celebrate together.
