Chas Dingle is set to face a very difficult birth in Emmerdale.
Chas's (Lucy Pargeter) pregnancy has been joyous for herself and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), especially in light of their heartbreaking loss of baby Grace last year.
Next week will see the couple facing a serious new complication just in time for the reopening of the Woolpack — but not everything is fully functional, as the builders haven't fixed the toilet door yet.

When Chas and Marlon (Mark Charnock) are looking around, they end up trapped behind the dodgy door without either of them carrying their mobiles!
Things go from bad to worse when Chas's water breaks just as Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) starts his DJ set out in the main Woolpack hall, making it so nobody can hear Chas and Marlon's calls for help.

Marlon then realises it'll be on him to coach Chas through the birth process, so he tries to be as comforting as possible while crammed into a tiny loo stall!

He comes up with a plan to turn his chef's jacket into some bedding to make Chas as comfortable as possible. With no room for error, Chas grips Marlon's hands and begins to push.
Viewers will have to wait until next week to find out what happens from there!
Emmerdale currently airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
