If there's one thing we love more than soaps, it's recognising soap stars when they switch allegiances. This time around? We're talking about Emmerdale newcomer Marcia.
In yesterday's (October 3) Emmerdale, Zeri Cheetham-Karcz made her first appearance as guest character Marcia, a representative for the wedding competition that's gripping the village's lovebirds – and Andrea and Leyla, of course.
After being entered by Leyla, Bernice and Liam are poised to become the area's candidates for Yorkshire's Sweethearts – that is until Andrea brings Lydia and Sam along for a shot at the last minute.
While we don't know yet know which couple will be in the running for a free wedding, we do know where we've seen Zeri before, with the actress previously appearing in not one but two soaps.
Ahead of her stint in Emmerdale, Zeri appeared in Coronation Street as a nurse for two episodes, but fans will most likely recognise her from the BBC's soap-turned-school-drama Waterloo Road.

Zeri starred as Celine Dixon in the series from 2007 until 2008, playing a troubled pupil at Waterloo Road caught in the middle of a love triangle with Donte Charles (Emmerdale's own Adam Thomas) and Chlo Grainger.
