Congratulations are in order for Hayley Tamaddon, who has just announced she is pregnant.
The former Coronation Street and Emmerdale star, who played Delilah Dingle and Andrea Beckett on the ITV soaps respectively, made the announcement on Twitter on Monday (April 22).
She wrote: "EXCITING NEWS TWEET! I'm so pleased to tell you all...I'm expecting my first child with my wonderful boyfriend Adrian!!
"I've always wanted to be a mum and didn't think I could have children. And now, at the ripe old age of 42 – I'M PREGNANT!
"We couldn't be happier."
The news comes just months after Hayley revealed she would love to return to one of her former soap roles — particularly to Weatherfield.

"I found my feet there and I'm still best friends with so many of them."
Following the announcement, Hayley's former Emmerdale and Coronation Street co-stars all posted their own congratulations to the actress.
"AMAZING news Hayley!" wrote Matthew Wolfenden. "Congratulations! loads of love."
"Aww gorgeous news Hayley!" said Samia Longchambon. "Huge Congrats."
"Congratulations lovely Hayley," added Jenny McAlpine. "Lovely news!"
