EastEnders spoilers follow.

Despite rocky beginnings, Jasmine has settled into Albert Square as though she's always belonged. But after this Monday's (6 July) EastEnders episode, she could be getting a storyline to firmly cement her place in Walford — and one that throws her back into Oscar Branning's orbit.

Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness's character has been living with the Slaters at The Queen Vic since reuniting with her mother, Zoe Slater, last year. Back behind the bar on Monday, Jasmine wasn't pulling pints. Instead, she was busy making jewellery and proudly showed off a necklace she'd designed herself.

It didn't take long for Mo to spot a business opportunity. While Jasmine's back was turned, she quietly pocketed the necklace, sold it to Tracey, and kept the money for herself. Her scheme quickly unravelled, though, when Jasmine spotted Tracey wearing her latest creation.

Furious, Jasmine confronted Mo and snatched the cash straight from her hand. Unfazed, Mo suggested they could turn the jewellery into a business and split the profits. But Jasmine had a better idea, asking Penny if she could take over her market stall now that Vinny has bought her a shop to sell her own designs.

The move could mark the start of a new chapter for Jasmine, but it would also put her face-to-face with Oscar Branning every day. Oscar works on the Beales' fruit and veg stall opposite Penny's stall, and Jasmine has spent weeks keeping him at arm's length after discovering he slept with her twin brother, Josh.

The truth came out during Jasmine's birthday celebrations and almost sparked a huge showdown between the pair. In the aftermath, Oscar ended their relationship and also distanced himself from Josh in a bid to untangle the messy love triangle.

Jasmine, Josh, and Oscar were then thrown back together when Oscar revealed that one of his ex-partners had tested positive for chlamydia, meaning they could all have been exposed.

Although it ultimately proved to be a false alarm, the ordeal did little to ease the tension between Oscar and Jasmine. Meanwhile, her relationship with Josh remains far from repaired.

Since then, Oscar has continued trying to make peace with Jasmine, but she's refused to let her guard down. Working opposite one another on the market could now force them to spend more time together than either expected.

It wouldn't be the first time the two have found their way back to one another, though. They first split in December 2025 after Jasmine pushed Cindy Beale down a flight of stairs and lied to Oscar about what happened. Devastated by Jasmine's dishonesty, Oscar walked away.

The pair did eventually rekindle their romance, leaving the door open for history to repeat itself.

EastEnders
continues Tuesday (7 July) from 7.30pm on BBC Two.
