Recriminations will fly in Thursday's (11 June) EastEnders after Jasmine Fisher finally discovered a major secret. Tonight's scenes saw her twin brother Josh Goodwin interrupting a chorus of 'Happy Birthday' to reveal that her boyfriend Oscar Branning has been cheating on her — with him.

The pair had been seen growing closer in recent months, despite Oscar's relationship with Jasmine. Earlier this week, the boys kissed again.

Official spoilers for the episode confirm that "chaos erupts at The Vic", so it definitely won't be a low-key aftermath.

In other EastEnders news, star Heather Peace (who plays Eve) has confirmed that her character and Suki Panesar-Unwin will make further progress in their adoption story very soon.

"We’ve been filming a lot together over the past few months," she told Inside Soap. "This is such an important storyline to tell, because it shows what a tricky process it can be.

"Because Eve’s been to prison, I would just immediately think it’s off the table, and you’d never be able to adopt if you’ve been to prison. Hopefully this story educates people a little bit, and somebody might apply to adopt who wouldn’t have before," she added.

EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
