EastEnders fans have been left heartbroken after a leaked filming video revealed a worrying development for Denise Fox. Denise was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), an aggressive form of blood cancer.
Onlookers noticed the soap shooting upcoming scenes at Stansted Airport and posted the footage on TikTok. The clip saw a frail-looking Denise in a wheelchair – leaving fans shocked and concerned about the beloved character.

"No No I cannot watch EastEnders anymore! Denise storyline is too much for my heart," one wrote in the comment section, with another writing: "Omg, please don't let Denise die."
"Aw no Denise is gonna become so ill," said a third, while a fourth added: "DENISE NOOOOO."

In the video, Denise was joined by her sister Kim and daughter Chelsea, as well as the grandma of villain Gray Atkins, Sheila, who will be introduced on the soap next week.
Following her son Jordan's accident and Denise's diagnosis, Chelsea struggles to keep her head above water financially, and reluctantly agrees to let Sheila help.

However, the leaked video sees Chelsea shouting Jordan's name as she frantically runs through the airport to find her son. The Foxes are then seen confronting Sheila, who quickly runs away – suggesting the newcomer may try to kidnap her great grandson in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, next week will also see the arrival of Libby Fox who returns to Walford after 16 years. Libby rushes back when she hears the news of her mum's diagnosis and nephew's accident – but it's far from a happy family reunion.
