EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (March 10), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders’ Nicola Mitchell has taken violent action against Zack Hudson, in the show’s latest episode.
Since Zack found out that he is Barney’s biological dad, he has been desperate to tell the teenager the truth, but Nicola is adamant that her son shouldn’t find out.
While Nicola threatened to expose his sister Sharon’s secret about her one-night stand with Grant, Zack wasn’t deterred and told her that if she won’t come clean to Barney, he will.

In today’s episode, Nicola told Zack that she was never going to admit the truth to Barney. Zack suggested they reveal both bombshells and reminded her that Teddy wouldn’t be pleased to hear that she knew about Sharon’s betrayal.

At Harry’s Barn, Nicola made an angry phone call, asking the person on the other end to plant drugs on someone and call the police. She was interrupted by Teddy and Barney, who were organising a family dinner for that evening.

Wanting to protect her beloved family unit, Nicola booked a last-minute holiday to Spain for her clan, but Teddy made it clear that he wasn’t going as they weren’t a family anymore.
During a heart-to-heart, Sharon told Zack that Nicola had tried to take Teddy and the boys to Spain, leaving him furious that she was attempting to run away.
He confronted her in the Square and declared that he was going to tell Barney the truth as he had nothing to lose. Nicola conceded, but she insisted on telling Barney alone and arranged to meet him in the bar after closing to figure things out.

Later that evening, Zack arrived at Harry’s Barn, but Nicola hadn’t told Barney anything. She had lured him there under false pretences, as three men surrounded him, and he was brutally attacked.
Nicola issued a deadly threat to Zack, saying, "If you so much as breathe a word of this, if you look in Barney’s direction, I promise you it’ll be the last thing you ever do."
