EastEnders spoilers follow for Thursday’s episode (March 6), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders’ Zack Hudson has issued Nicola Mitchell with a huge ultimatum about Barney, in the show’s latest episode.
This week, Barney’s readmission to hospital led Zack to discover that he is Barney's biological father, following a secret fling with Nicola years back.
Zack wanted Barney to know the truth and pleaded with Nicola to come clean, but she was unsure as she didn’t want Teddy to find out.

But when Barney woke up in hospital, he shared a secret with his mum, telling Nicola that Sharon cheated on Teddy by sleeping with Grant.

When Sharon came round, she was shocked to realise that Nicola knew about her secret and now had something against her.

Sharon caught up with Zack at Harry’s Barn and told him the news about Nicola. Zack ended up admitting to her his previous affair with Nicola – but kept quiet about the Barney bombshell.
Meanwhile, Barney worried about lying to Teddy, but Nicola reassured him that it was okay to keep Sharon’s betrayal from him as she didn’t want to break his heart.
The Mitchells went out for a family meal, and when Sharon and Zack came in for a takeaway, Teddy invited the pair to join them.
As tensions grew between Sharon and Nicola around the table, Barney suddenly took a turn for the worse and felt ill.

Zack was quick to check on his son’s wellbeing, but Teddy and Harry thought his reaction was strange, and Teddy later expressed these concerns to Nicola.
That evening, Zack came round to make sure Barney was okay and told Nicola that her attempts to keep him quiet have failed.
"Your threats, they don’t mean nothing, no more," he said. "Either you tell him, or I will."
