EastEnders spoilers follow for Thursday’s episode (January 2), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders has confirmed the fates of four major characters after Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin’s wedding was derailed by Nish.

In yesterday’s dramatic instalment, Denise discovered that Nish was alive and in Walford, but before she could call the police, he attacked her and left her for dead.

Suki and Eve managed to get married without a hitch, as Ravi and Vinny intercepted Nish's arrival at the venue. However, he got away and poisoned some champagne in the honeymoon suite – which Eve drank before falling unconscious.
