EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders' Suki and Nish Panesar are about to kick off 2023 with some drama.

Upcoming scenes will see ex-criminal Nish convincing himself that the Slaters will sue over the carbon-monoxide-leaking boiler after speaking to a cagey Eve Unwin.

At the same time, he's determined to strong-arm Ben into agreeing a deal on the Arches, yet upon confronting him, Nish is left fuming over the response.

Meanwhile, after overhearing Phil Mitchell battering down Sharon Watts's front door, Suki advises her husband not to take on the Mitchells – suggesting that his charm will prove much more successful than brute force.

Nish then apologises to both Ben and Lola for his insensitivity, yet Harvey is still appalled and calls Nish out for chucking his money around in an attempt to deflect attention away from the Slaters' boiler situation.

Harvey alleges that Nish is responsible before publicly humiliating him.

Enraged by this turn of events, Nish rants about Harvey while Suki receives a phone call from the Health and Safety Investigator – they're aware of who's at fault for the boiler leak.

Jean and Harvey are enjoying a cosy chat when the Panesars come knocking.

These scenes will air on on Tuesday, January 3 and Wednesday, January 4.
