EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders' Jay Brown might be heading for the Heartbreak Hotel as Isaac Baptiste makes a move on his partner Lola Pearce.
The pair already hit a snag – not that Jay (Jamie Borthwick) is aware of it yet – before lockdown, when Lola (Danielle Harold) cheated with Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson).
In scenes that will air next week, the soap will further Lola's uncertainty when it comes to her future with her long-term boyfriend.

When the couple's offer on the flat they applied for is accepted, Jay is thrilled but Lola seems much less excited. Her reaction prompts the former to question why she's so deflated and things become even more complicated when Isaac (Stevie Basaula) asks Lola to brunch.

Grateful for the distraction, Lola agrees and goes, but she's taken aback when Isaac uses the opportunity to inquire about the pair of them going on a date.
Aghast, she reminds Isaac that she's taken but he argues that she's clearly unhappy about her current situation and suggests that she do something about it.

It's already been hinted that Lola might still be feeling the strain from the couple's disagreement over her decision to terminate her pregnancy, and that Jay is set to grow suspicious of his partner when Peter makes a comment about their relationship troubles.
