EastEnders' Sharon Mitchell will face more panic over her baby secret as Mel Owen ups the ante with her blackmail next week.
Mel (Tamzin Outhwaite) has discovered the truth about Sharon's affair with Keanu – and the fact that he's the father of her unborn child.
So far, Mel has just used the incriminating knowledge to manipulate Sharon (Letitia Dean) into persuading Louise to move in with Lisa, but upcoming scenes will see her make some far more elaborate demands.
With Mel desperate for a fresh start away from Walford, the next stage of her plan will see her insist that Sharon buy her a villa in Portugal.
As Mel continues to pressurise Sharon into making this happen, a frantic Sharon is forced to think outside the box in terms of what to do next.
After Sharon broaches idea of a holiday to Portugal with Phil, he's adamant it's not an option – until Dennis manages to persuade him otherwise. Unfortunately, Sharon's relief soon turns into despair when the plan to go to Portugal later falls apart, prompting her to beg Jack for help.
