Coronation Street confirms proposal drama as Ryan raises the stakes

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Carla Connor receives some no-nonsense advice over her proposal plans next week, as Ryan has his say.

As Carla makes plans to pop the question to Lisa Swain, a supportive Ryan fears that she isn't doing enough to sweep her partner off her feet.

Corrie bosses have released a first look at the scene, which airs in next Friday's episode.

This comment sets the cogs whirring for Carla, as she's forced to drastically rethink her plans.

Spoilers for the episode have previously revealed that Carla chooses The Rovers for her ideal proposal setting.

Carla gets temporary manager Glenda Shuttleworth involved, asking her to secretly pop the ring in a glass of champagne for Lisa when she arrives. But will the idea go according to plan?
