Coronation Street has teased more divorce drama for the McDonalds as Steve moves out of Number 1.

The notoriously on-again-off-again couple decided to call it quits earlier this year, following the breakdown of their second marriage.

Though Tracy has been flirting with newcomer Carl Webster, she was furious to discover Steve and Cassie Plummer had made their relationship official.

In upcoming episodes, Tracy extends an olive branch to Steve, suggesting they keep their divorce amicable for the sake of their daughter. Steve is relieved but Amy is suspicious of her mother's true motives.

Later, Amy's doubts are proven correct as Tracy's scheme is exposed.

Steve and Cassie confront the florist at Preston's Petals with a copy of the shop's valuation. It turns out Tracy had kept the document from Steve's solicitor, amid the divorce settlement.

Furious that he was tricked into letting his guard down, Steve lays down the law. He warns his wife that he will be getting what's rightfully his in the divorce.

Meanwhile, Tracy is annoyed that her plan was ruined and suspects Amy is responsible for sending the information.

Steve becomes fed up of feuding with Tracy and decides to pack his bags. Will the distance cause a further rift between the McDonalds?

"Steve has now moved on with his life by dating Cassie, so it makes sense for him to move out," our Corrie source explains.

"It's a stressful time for him, though, as he'd wanted a hassle-free divorce and had believed Tracy when she promised to keep things friendly. Has that agreement now gone out of the window?"

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX and YouTube.
