Coronation Street has revealed the verdict of Lauren Bolton's trial in some dramatic scenes.
Tonight's (January 21) instalment began with the barristers delivering their closing statements to the jury, while Lauren kept an eye on baby Frankie in hospital.
Dee-Dee Bailey came to see Lauren and said that the jury couldn't reach an agreement, leaving her worried that it was a bad sign.

"I'm going to prison, aren't I?" Lauren said, unconvinced that things could still go either way. "What if I can't look after [Frankie] anymore?"

"Go and face this, Lauren," Dee-Dee encouraged. "Be strong."
Eventually, Lauren returned to the court to hear her fate and burst into tears when she heard that she was found not guilty of murdering Joel Deering.

Now free, Lauren returned to the hospital with Max, and they hugged. "It's over," she said.
Their relief was short-lived when Joel's dad Gus turned up and tried to take Frankie away, stating that he wouldn't let his grandson be brought up by a murderer.
"I'm so done with people like you looking down their noses at people like me," she rebuffed. "I'm not gonna let you do the same to my son. You can try and take Frankie if you want. But you're not going to have to kill me first."
She took back her child and told Gus to get out, and Max told her that she was amazing.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
